We had Brayden come out to help us with a new toilet installation plus a blocked sewerage pipe. We ended up having a reline fit after tree roots had cracked the original pipe. Mitch from The Local Plumber came to provide a second quote after we were given a significantly high estimate from another plumber. Not only did he inspect our drain pipes with a camera for free, but he also explained that the extensive work we were told was necessary—1.5 days with two men and an excavator—was actually not required at all!His honesty and ethics were incredibly refreshing, especially for my elderly mother, who is on a pension. It’s infuriating that some tradespeople try to take advantage of vulnerable customers. The first plumber even refused to provide the camera footage, likely to prevent us from getting a second opinion. Despite multiple follow-ups, they never returned as promised.Huge thanks to Mitch and The Local Plumber for their integrity and transparency. I’ll be using them for our own renovations and recommending them to everyone I know! 👏👏

We had what we thought was a small “low water/weird flow” ongoing issue in our septic but turns out had multiple dislodgements that required a few days work to fix. These guys were terrific - thorough, communicative, and walked us through the process - bringing us along as they pulled the camera through and pointing to where the issues were (gross but also enlightening). They saw the larger problem, not just the quick fix. The team was great and even went so far as to get rid of a red back spider my daughter spotted outside the house just as they were packing up. Fantastic plumbers - and an extra thanks to Spider-Man for going above and beyond. Five stars.

Although three plumbers were scheduled to remove my old toilet and carry my very heavy new toilet up and down stairs, Dylan ended up doing the whole job.
